Step 1. Join your local recovery group

Coordinating with local groups will enable your business to have the greatest impact and assure that you have local partners when you are in need.

Local recovery organizations are managed by groups called Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster and Community Organizations Active in Disaster. They are often called VOADs. Sometimes there are Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COADs) and Long-Term Recovery Groups (LTRGs).
